Every assistant uses the same URL and the same Ceviche sign-in and consent page. What differs is where you paste the URL.

Claude Code
If you have already connected Ceviche in claude.ai and you sign in to Claude Code with the same Claude account,
Ceviche is already there: Claude Code picks up the connectors you added in claude.ai. Run /mcp to check.
To add it to Claude Code on its own:
-
In a terminal, run:
claude mcp add --transport http ceviche https://app.ceviche.ai/api/mcpAdd
--scope userto make it available in every project, not only the current one. -
Start Claude Code and run
/mcp. Pick ceviche and choose to authenticate. -
Your browser opens Ceviche's sign-in page. Sign in, check the consent page and click Allow. The consent page names the requester as localhost (this computer) or 127.0.0.1 (this computer), because Claude Code receives the sign-in on your own machine.
-
Back in Claude Code,
/mcpshows Ceviche as connected.
To sign Claude Code out of Ceviche, open /mcp, pick ceviche and choose Clear authentication. To remove
it, run claude mcp remove ceviche. You can also disconnect it from Ceviche's side; see
Disconnect and revoke access.
ChatGPT
Supported. Add Ceviche to ChatGPT as a custom connector with the URL above. A Ceviche page opens: sign in, check the consent page and click Allow, the same as for Claude. Whether you can add custom connectors depends on your ChatGPT plan and your workspace admin's settings. If you can't find where to add one, or the connection fails, tell us at operations@ceviche.ai.
Codex
Coming. Ceviche's sign-in already accepts Codex, but we haven't yet tested a Codex connection to production end to end, so there are no steps here yet.
Other assistants
Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients aren't supported yet. Ceviche refuses sign-in from web-based apps it doesn't know, and we haven't tested other desktop apps. If you need one of them, tell us which, so we can plan for it.
