Ceviche MCP is off for every Ceviche team by default. Ceviche switches it on one team at a time, when the team asks. There is no switch for it in the app yet.
Ask Ceviche to turn it on
Email your Ceviche contact, or operations@ceviche.ai, and say which team it is for. See Support for what to include.
Once it is on, every member of the team can connect their own assistant. Each person connects separately and signs in with their own Ceviche account. One person connecting doesn't connect anyone else.
What changes when it is on
- Members can complete the sign-in and consent steps in Connect Claude. Before that, the sign-in stops with a message that Ceviche MCP isn't turned on for the team.
- Linked Accounts shows each person's own AI connections on its Connections tab, with a Disconnect action. See Disconnect and revoke access.
- Nothing else in the app changes. Ceviche MCP adds no menus, settings or features to Ceviche itself.
Who can connect
Anyone on the team, whatever their role: admins, members and viewers. The role doesn't change what the MCP can do, because it is read-only for everyone. It does decide what the person can see, because the MCP reads with that person's own permissions. See Access and permissions.
Which teams it reads today
Ceviche MCP reads teams whose books are kept in Ceviche itself, with no accounting system connected. A team connected to QuickBooks Online or NetSuite, or whose card spend comes in from Ramp, can still be switched on and can connect. The assistant will then confirm who you are and which team it reached, and tell you that the team's records aren't available through the MCP yet. Support for those setups is planned. See Limits.
Turning it off again
Ask Ceviche the same way. When Ceviche MCP is turned off for a team, every connection on that team stops at its next request. Nobody needs to disconnect anything. If it is turned on again later, people may have to connect again from their assistant.
